noteHorse Riding in Wales is peaceful and invigorating

There are two excellent riding establishments about twelve miles away which give personal lessons at a very reasonable cost.

Normally lessons are for an hour and more experienced riders get taken out around the farms.

The more adventurous can ride greater distances through Mid-Wales without a guide yet with detailed marked-up maps and full back-up for kit and transport can be arranged with Free Rein Trail Riding Holiday which operates from Hay on Wye.
