We are starting to get very busy for a couple of the summer weeks. We only have  two all weather pitches available from the 31st of July until the 7th of August and then only a limited number for the following week.

What an amazing week this has been. We have had the most lovely time with lots and lots of visitors coming and going and even in one case, getting home and turning round and coming straight back!

A number of years ago we identified that a bank holiday has the ability to make or break a campsite!

We woke to another beautiful morning today with the hope that it might just feel a bit warmer, it is, a mite but it hardly feels like spring at the moment.  The grass is growing, we have mowed the campsite three or four times, but not like it normally is in the middle of May. This has definitely made a difference to the number of people that we have been seeing on the site.   I think the retirees who traditionally occupy pitches at this time of year are staying at home with the central heating turned up!
