Bringing your dog to Fforest Fields

As we get busier at this time of year I think that a timely reminder about bringing dogs to Fforest Fields would be sensible. We welcome dogs, we sometimes don’t welcome their owners Wink Please keep your dog on a lead at all times on the campsite, one that it cannot slip off. Make sure that if children are put in charge of Fido they are RESPONSIBLE enough to clear up after him and notice when he does a mess.

When you are out walking take bags and clean up after him, please don’t throw the bags into the bushes for us to find when the leaves drop. All dog bags go into the dustbins, these are cleared out several times a day during the summer.

If anything happens that worries you or you are not happy about, come and see one of us straight away. Don’t think about it and report it the next morning please, it makes our job so much easier.

Remember that not everyone likes dogs, some people are frightened of them. If your dog persistantly barks it will be very annoying for your neighbours, just as you would probably find someone persistantly revving their car next to you annoying!

A dog is your responsibility, take care, keep it clean, and respect all the other visitors to Fforest Fields and you and they will have a wonderful stay with us.

Here is a link to the Countryside Code, please take time to read it.
