Hundred House Show, another victim of the weather
It was with a certain resignation that the committee met last night to discuss the show. The decision was made very reluctantly to cancel the show as held on the field adjacent to the campsite, but to go ahead with the horticulture, children’s classes, cookery classes and hopefully, the dog show, in the village hall and on the common in Hundred House. I think that the vintage tractors will also be there.
So if you were planning to come with your pots of jam, your best knitted article, your flower arrangement in a wellie - please do still come!
The concert and tea will also be held in the village hall, instead of the marquee, on Sunday, 7th at 4.30 pm. The cost is £7.50 per adult for a delicious tea and then entertainment from a local Male Voice Choir.
