Damp squib!

As far as we heard last night was completely quiet on the firework front. Not a bang, nor a whoosh, or a oooohhhh or even an ahhh. Certainly our dogs, sensitive to what they think might guns, didn't budge one inch all evening!

It is very foggy today, I can't  see more than about 500 yds from my window, a classic autumn morning though, mists and mellow fruitfulness. The last of the leaves are hanging onto the trees, the larches are the most beautiful orange, they are almost glowing in the mist.

We are going to stay open until next Sunday, the 9th of November just in case you fancy a quick break before the winter sets in. George, Will and Ken have already started on the winter programe of events on the site. We are planning to put a new entrance in which will make it much nicer for anyone staying at either end of the site as they won't have all the cars going past all the time. We are going to be doing up the loo block too......unfortunately not building the new one. We had so wanted to get it done this winter but we have still not sold the cottages and until we do, we are stuck. Anyone want to buy a home in Mid Wales, we have one for you?

BTW - this is positively the last picture of the wedding!
