Holiday Cottage...

At this time of year, when the campsite is closed, we often get people calling us for advice about holiday cottages in the area. Well, now you need look no further! Ffynnonau (Fer-non-i) Will and Nat's holiday cottage is ready and waiting for customers.... The house is about half a mile from the campsite, just to the right on the walk up past the barn. It is in the most marvellous position and totally quiet and peaceful. It has just been graded by the Welsh Tourist Board as a four star holiday home. It really is rather specail. Set over half a mile off the main road, up its own track, the house is a timber framed 'Colt' house. There is one double room, two twins and a bunk room. and two bathrooms, one with shower and bath and one just a shower upstairs. A large entrance hall, leads into a open plan sitting/dining room, with a log burning fire. The house has been completely re-done and we have added special features like solar panels for the heating and wool insulation to help the house 'breath'. It is wonderfully cosy in the winter and cool and inviting in the summer - and Oh! What views!!

Please go to their website.....http://www.holiday-cottage-mid-wales.co.uk/index.php for pictures and all the information you need. There are special rates for campsite users!

No, nothing to do with me Carol! Natalie is a natural-born-farmer's-wife!! Ffynnonau has been their project and they have put their hearts into it.....I know that visitors will love it there. It really is a special place, so far from the beaten track, the views are staggering and the peace and quiet invigorating. They have a booking for new year, just after Christmas, but it is still available for Christmas week - christmas tree at no extra charge!!
