Don't turn left!
Into the old entrance of the site! You now have to go about 50 yeards further on before you can turn.
It will be the first thing that you notice as you arrive (well, if you've been before!) I can tell you it's quite difficult not to! Every instinct says turn left at the end of trees, especially when you have been doing it for the last tweny years or so...even before that, when Fforest Fields was the Little Flat, that was where the entrance was, so it's taken quite a bit of getting used to! But what George and Will have done during the winter months is a huge improvement. We now have one entrance and exit, no cars driving round the site, unless they are going to their pitch, so much less traffic movement, much safer for children and much quieter and less dusty for you.
George is feeding the fish twice a week at the moment and so far we have only found one dead which is great news; he says they are a pretty ungrateful bunch though, nothing pops up to say 'ta for the food' but, unless Mr. Heron has had the lot they are still there, if he had we would know because he simply wouldn't be able to fly.
I am sorry if anyone is trying to get to us for Easter, we are not taking any more bookings at the moment. We do have pitches spare and we might release a few more when we know what the weather is going to be like. Amazing at the moment, what a Spring we are having.
