Otter picture as promised!
I could put this straight into an album but I think it needs to be where you won't miss it!
Mike heard it padding along behind him and turned, by the time his camera was out the otter was off!
It was at about 6.30 in the morning. Some time ago someone thought that they saw an otter in exactly the same place, long before we dug the lakes, so he sounds like a regular visitor!
He was a good big otter, with a wonderful stout tail. What a treat!

Hi all
wish i was a regular visitor too! Cracked a couple of ribs this week, very painful, and lots to do for the sheepdog trials next weekend!! I promise i will visit for my usual week and hopefully a couple of weekends in the meantime.
