Clocks go back

Just to remind anyone having a look at the latest news, the clocks go back one hour tonight. NOT next weekend as you might expect!

I always go into this part of the year with mixed feelings, lovely snug evenings with the log fire lit and books to read.....long nights, short days with no one staying on the campsite........ We are open for another week though, until next Sunday, the 1st of November, we have quite a few staying at the moment and although it is blustery and there are short showers it is very warm. The forecast is looking a bit better too, especially for tomorrow. We have several people staying who are taking part in the OMM http://www.theomm.com - rather them than me! (they were the group that the press got all hot under the collar about last year and started reporting that 'hundreds' of runners were in need of being rescued. In fact they are all very capable and prepared for whatever the hills can throw at them. It is being run in the Elan Valley over this weekend.
