Special offer from the Metropole Hotel

There is a definate buzz in the air today! The first of our visitors for the new season 2010 arrive tomorrow, how lovely it will be to welcome them to Fforest Fields. The Metrople Hotel, in Llandrindod Wells, is offering all visitors staying at Fforest Fields the chance to use their Spa at the special rate of £9.50 for adults and £6.50 for children from 10am to 4pm daily. There is a lovely 18m covered pool, whirlpool, air conditioned gym, steamroom and sauna. It is a treat to go there and something definitely for keeping in mind for a wet day! Amongst all the old friends we have several new ones coming so we extend a very warm welcome to them and hope that they will want to return to us again and again. As normal we have kept the numbers down this weekend, we find it a sensible thing to do, when we are never certain what the weather will throw at us. I have just had a call from someone saying it is going to sleet tomorrow....yikes! BUT they said that it was going to rain heavily today and we have not had a show yet and as I write the sun is out!

The grass is a lot greener than it was last week but with the continued damp we have not had a chance to mow, Thursday is looking a possibility. As you will have read we now have wifi on the site, unfortunately Guy was sent the wrong booster boxes so at the moment only about 3/4s of the site is covered but we hope to have it completed tomorrow, fingers crossed!
