Happy Christmas
So, here I sit, twenty four minutes to midnight and Christmas day, remembering the wonderful season that we have had at Fforest Fields! The weather seemed to play ball more often than not this year and while it still gave us palpitations on occasions, I think that we had an awful lot to be thankful for.
I am sure that you will all have your own memories of the time you spent with us in 2010 and that some of you 'hit it wrong' with the best the Welsh hills can throw at you but all in all the sun shone more often than not! (well perhaps that is a slight exaggeration!)
Fforest Fields is a special place but we all feel that it is the wonderful people who visit us that make it so. We try hard to keep it as simple and as 'old fashioned' as we can, many people remark that it is the most friendly camp site, people make friends here, two groups that came to visit this year had met for the first time at Fforest Fields in the past.
We want to thank you for coming, for choosing Fforest Fields, for being so lovely and keeping the essence our site alive. There are far too many special people to mention but comments that we have had over the last year include " Having been camping & caravanning for almost 40 years, this is one of the best sites we have stayed at in all that time, it's lovely to see that trust still exists with your honesty boxes, and hope that no one takes advantage of you.
Many thanks for a wonderful stay at your site." and "We simply want to say thank you for such a wonderful few days last week. We were able to see our two grandchildren enjoying themselves every moment, and asking why we were not staying longer. We are fully appreciative of all the many ways you ensure that everyone has a good experience and all the work you put in to make this possible. The atmosphere and the style of the campsite is so relaxed and pleasant, it is hard to imagine matching this at any other site. These are comments I am sure you receive many times!
Thank you all, Eve and David" It is humbling that people take the time to write after they have stayed with us and let us know they enjoyed their stay.
Of course, not all comments are complimentary and we couldn't expect to keep everyone happy and to anyone who for some reason thought that we fell short of the mark, we are sorry. We listen to complaints and take them very seriously and would also like to thank you for bringing problems to our attention.
On another note, you might have noticed that our wonderful photograph gallery is missing from our website at the moment. Following an attack on the website by a blankety-blank spammer, we lost all the photographs. In spite of Wonderful-Harry trying his best to save the situation, the lot have disappeared. Rest assured though, in the new year, commeth a new website and when the NEW gallery is in place we shall be inviting you to upload your best pictures again. We love seeing them, they express your feelings about your stay and make a very personal record.
Happy Christmas and a very peaceful, sunny and warm camping and caravanning new year!

Thank you all for making the last 2 years so memorable for all of us, our only regret is not discovering you sooner, I am gutted that the photos have gone (luckily I have copies of mine - although I don't relish uploading them). I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas very much look forward to seeing you all soon.
