Spring is in the air.......
but with a chilly Easterly wind! We do feel that finally we are dragging ourselves out of the winter months though. There are crocusus (croci?!) out on the campsite, a few very brave daffodils are poking up and snowdrops are bobbing in the breeze.
It has been a long, long winter for all of us but I am finding that the bookings are starting to step up and that means that we are all thinking of warmer times!
George and Will have completed quite a few more all weather pitches; we find them so useful, not just for tents that wish to stay for more than four nights, but caravanners make a bee-lin for them too. We are keen to keep the asthetics of the site and as much green grass as possible but all weather pitches seem to tick all the boxes.
The wonderful Harry is about to start on our new website. He very much hopes to have it in place by the end of the month. We will need your help once it is up and running; I don't know if you remember but some 'namelss-person' managed to get into the site and in trying to rid ourseves of him, all the photogrpahs in the gallery went phut! We have a good stock of our own but one of the differences that set our website apart from others was that YOU had uploaded most of the photographs, making a very special record of your visits and Fforest Fields. If I could ask you to pick just a few of your favourites and load them onto the new site we will have a wonderful record very quickly.
Susie is painting the loo block, fresh for the start of the season and the big end of winter tidy-up has started, oh, roll on April!!
