First day!
Today has been just about as exciting as it was twenty years ago when we opened Fforest Fields for the first time.
We have had a new loo/shower block in the planning for a number of years and today we 'cut the first sod' so to speak! In keeping with our beliefs in a sympathtically designed campsite, this new block has taken us a long time to design. We wanted a building that sat comfortably in the environment that we were placing it in. It is going to be considerably bigger than the dear old block that has served us so well for the last twenty years, so it needed to blend but on the other hand it needs to be modern and attractive. We think that we have it about right!
As the build progresses I will keep you up to date with the latest developments and photographs but this is just Day 1 - Photograph 1 to start you off!
The telephone box has now become Susie's new tool shed down at her caravan!

Can't wait to see what it will look like.
We're still living in the chaos of our build & haven't managed to get away this year as our caravan is trapped so really looking forward to escaping early in the new year. Best Wishes, Bill & Issy
