Notable landmark
It's been a special day at Fforest Fields today, they 'topped out' the new building!
In George's life before ffarming he was in charge of a very large build in West London and they had a spectacular topping out ceremony, with the local dignitaries, heads of the construction company, the architects and all the trades represented.
By comparison our topping out was a quiet affair, just the builders and us. We didn't even put a small christmas tree on the roof like they do on the Continent! However, there we are, topped out and now the work can begin in earnest. There is still a lot to do, outside and in!
On a particularly sunny day last week I caught the boys lunching on the patio!
