Police Clampdown on Elan Valley Offroaders
Police have hailed a crackdown on illegal off-roading a success after a number of vehicles were stopped in Powys. Officers checked 23 vehicles on a route popular with motorcyclists and 4×4 drivers in the Elan Valley, near Rhayader. Two fixed penalty notices were issued for driving using a mobile phone and for no registration plate.

Volunteers Help to Improve Routes in Powys
Volunteers have been helping to improve local walking trails in Powys. Working alongside the council’s Countryside Services team, volunteers have already been carrying out work in Crossgates, Llanbadarn Fawr and Abbeycwmhir.
