Groups and Group Bonds
4+ pitches together
We strongly suggest you book your group stay at Fforest Fields at least a month before your stay. We manage our group bookings so that we can create harmony and respect on site and give you the space to enjoy your gathering.
We ask that 4 or more pitches booked together are booked as a group booking, using a form we will send you. If a group booking is made via our online booking system and not via the group booking form we reserve the right to cancel that with short notice.
We ask for a deposit when staying as a group, this will secure your pitch and it acts as a bond between you and us that you will be considerate as a group and not disturb other campers, especially as we ask that campers keep their noise levels low after 10.30pm.
Group Bonds will be returned in full if you cancel your booking in good and honest time.
The Bond is paid by the group leader and returned to them at the end of your stay.
Over the two busy bank holidays, at the end of May and August, we ask that at least one member of the group has stayed at the campsite before so that we know they understand the ethos. At other times that may not always the case and it’s always worth asking about Easter and the beginning of May bank holiday weekends even if you’ve not been before.
We do sometimes have issues managing groups, mainly surrounding noise levels. Creating an encampment can distance you from the other campers and make groups less likely to consider others who want to enjoy their time here in the Welsh countryside. So, with that in mind we take precautions when booking a group in, this is so that we can all have a wonderful time
Amending Your Booking
You are welcome to amend your campsite booking at any time, please contact the office on 01982 570 406 or via our contact form to do so.
Holiday Cottages & Glamping
Please contact us on 01982 570 406 or via our contact form if you would like to amend your booking for the cottages or glamping yurts, in some circumstances, we can postpone and amend your booking but this will depend on the notice and will be at the discretion of the cottage/glamping manager.
Very occasionally we refuse a booking, it is our job to ensure there is harmony on site and it is at our discretion who we allow onto the site. We are also not obligated to discuss our decision. We reserve the right to refuse future bookings based on previous behaviour on site, rudeness to our staff or disregard for the community here at Fforest Fields.
Antagonistic, rude or unfriendly behaviour on site
Very occasionally we’ll get a troublesome group or visitor, we will always try and guide people towards fitting into the community and creating a harmonious atmosphere on site but there are clashes from time to time. In our 30 year history, we have only asked a handful of visitors to leave early due to disruption and it has only ever been after a conversation and a number of ‘chances’ but we reserve the right to refuse your stay if you don’t want to listen to our concerns. We understand that you are on holiday and want to help you have the best stay possible but our duty is to the campsite as a whole and we need to be firm and fair if there is any unwarranted disruption.
Our team is very dedicated and will be ready to help if you are dissatisfied in any way, we ask that you work with us to resolve any issues – respect and understanding will be met with the same.
