At Fforest Fields, we are more than just a camping site – we are a family-run business offering camping pitches, glamping yurts, and a delightful self-catering holiday cottage on our farm with walks, trails, lakes and more in the heart of Wales. Our passion is creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all our guests, ensuring your stay is truly unforgettable. We are always available to address any concerns you may have.

Cancellations & Refunds

Camping/Touring Pitches

We understand that plans can change, and sometimes, you may need to cancel or modify your booking. Please take note of our cancellation policy:

– Your deposit is non-refundable.
– Cancellation 31 or more nights before your arrival date: we will refund all but your deposit, or can potentially move your booking on to a later date in the season.
– Cancellation 15 – 30 days prior to arrival we will return 50% of your total fee, or can potentially move your booking on to a date later in the season.
– Cancellation 14 days or less prior to arrival, we cannot refund at this point but can potentially move your booking on to a date later in the season.

Please note that we won’t move your booking into a future year.

Glamping Yurts

Similar to our pitch bookings, glamping yurts follow a specific cancellation policy:

– Your deposit is non-refundable.
– Cancellation 31 nights or more before your arrival date: We will return all except your deposit
– Cancellation 0-30 nights before your arrival date: We will not be able to refund at this notice, we can sometimes move the booking on to a future date the same year.

*Yurt Damage Bond*: A £50 bond is collected upon booking to encourage respectful treatment of our property and a few checklist to dos before you leave. Please notify us of any breakages during your stay, and this bond will be refunded within 7 days upon approval from our cleaning team.

Self-Catering Cottage

For our self-catering cottage bookings:

– Your deposit is non-refundable.
– Cancellation 30 or more nights before your arrival date: We will refund your rental fee, minus the deposit.
– Cancellation 14-29 nights before your arrival date: We will refund 30% of your rental fee, retaining the deposit.
– Cancellation 1-13 nights before your arrival date: Regrettably, we cannot provide refunds for late cancellations.



Group Bookings in 2024

In 2023, group bookings are limited to a maximum of 3 pitches together. Exceptions to this limit may be made with prior arrangement directly with us. Please read our updated Group Policy.



Selecting Your Perfect Pitch

Benefit from our 30 years of pitching experience as we help you find the ideal spot on our campsite. Each pitch is unique, and we’ll do our best to match your preferences. During busier times, we may not fulfil all requests, but our commitment to your enjoyment remains unwavering.



Modifying Your Booking

Campsite: You’re welcome to modify your campsite booking at any time. Simply contact our office at 01982 570 452 or use our contact form. Please note that we allow up to 6-people per pitch, if you are adding additional people + unit then they will need their own pitch.

Holiday Cottage & Glamping: For changes to cottage or glamping yurt bookings, please contact us at 01982 570 452 or through our contact form. Postponements or modifications are subject to notice and our discretion.



Booking Refusal

On rare occasions, we may refuse a booking to maintain harmony on our site. Our discretion guides these decisions, and we are not obligated to provide reasons. We reserve the right to deny future bookings based on previous behavior, staff rudeness, or disregard for our community’s well-being.

Due to the group policy we will also refuse bookings where people are trying to create a group larger than 3-pitches together. Please read our updated group policy.



Maintaining a Harmonious Atmosphere

While disruptions are infrequent, occasionally, we may address antagonistic or disruptive behaviour. We prioritize community harmony and will engage in conversations and warnings before asking visitors to leave. Our commitment is to the entire campsite, and we remain firm yet fair when addressing unwarranted disruptions. Please engage with us to resolve issues; respect and understanding are reciprocated.



Online Security

We prioritise your online security through our Payment Service Provider, Sage Pay. They employ robust security measures, including 256-bit encryption, fraud screening, and PCI DSS compliance. Look for “https://” and a locked padlock symbol in the web address when booking through our site for a secure, protected experience.



Privacy & Data

Fforest Fields adheres to the Data Protection Act 1998. Anytime Booking Software processes bookings as our Data Processor, ensuring your personal data is handled securely and not shared or used for other purposes. We employ technical and organizational measures to safeguard your data, and any international transfers require your consent. For inquiries, please reach out to us.
